O artigo versa sobre as diversas origens que o candomblé tem na cidade do Rio de Janeiro e sua diáspora para regiões afastadas do Centro da cidade. Por origem entende-se tanto o local de origem do/da dirigente, como sua ligação com as diversas "nações" do candomblé. O artigo visa não apenas identificar essas origens, mas, sobretudo elucidar, mesmo que de forma inicial, os processos que levaram os terreiros a se expandirem pelo Grande Rio de Janeiro.
The paper discusses the various sources that Candomblé is in the city of Rio de Janeiro and its diaspora to remote areas of the city center, by origin means both the place of origin / the leader, as its connection with the various "nations" of Candomblé.
