O artigo almeja investigar, nos poemas “Dona doida” e “Bendito”, o entendimento da memória não como simples ato psicológico, mas como refundação do tempo, isto é, como reordenação do lugar da pessoa nas temporalidades diversas nas quais está imersa. Desse modo, através da análise de dois dos seus poemas, visamos entender como o trabalho da memória, mediada pelo espaço da vida cotidiana, é percebido como um processo de construção interior que integra o afeto e o intelecto. Tendo como referencial teórico principal a noção de memória, segundo o filósofo francês Paul Ricœur (1996), exploraremos a descrição de si como atividade que constitui a identidade do sujeito, na medida em que essa visibiliza os fios da memória e projeta-o à redefinição da mesma identidade em sua abertura ao porvir. Por outro lado, buscaremos, em Halbwaschs (1990), as noções de memória individual e coletiva, uma vez que, para este autor, a memória é sempre construída em grupo, mas também fruto de um trabalho individual, do sujeito produtor de discurso que traz consigo uma memória discursiva (Orlandi, 2001). Nesse sentido, visamos demonstrar que a criação poética de Prado não somente reflete, mas também auxilia o ser humano a elaborar a sua relação consigo, com a vida das outras pessoas, com suas próprias memórias e com os que os rodeiam, endossando uma conexão permanente entre o individual e o comunitário. Ademais, investigaremos, a partir de uma abordagem memorial, de que maneira a espiritualidade cristã, marcada pelo exercício permanente da memória, ocupa um lugar incontornável na obra da poetisa.
he article aims to investigate in Adélia Prado’s poetic production the understanding of memory not as a simple psychological act, but as a refoundation of time, that is, as a reordering of the person’s place in the different temporalities in which they are immersed. Thus, through the analysis of two of his poems, we aim to understand how the work of memory mediated by the space of everyday life is perceived as an inner editing process that integrates affection and intellect. Having as the main theoretical reference the notion of memory according to the French philosopher Paul Ricœur (1996), we will explore the description of oneself as an activity that constitutes the subject’s identity, insofar as it makes the threads of memory visible and projects the redefinition of the same identity in its openness to the future.On the other hand, we will seek, in Halbwaschs (1990), the notions of individual and collective memory, since, for this author, memory is always constructed in a group, but it is also the result of an individual work, of the discourse-producing subject who brings with it a discursive memory (Orlandi, 2001). We aim to demonstrate that Prado’s poetic creation not only reflects, but also helps human beings to develop their relationship with themselves, with the lives of other people, their memories and those around them, endorsing a permanent connection between the individual and the community. Furthermore, we will investigate through a memorial approach how Christian spirituality, itself marked by the permanent exercise of memory, occupies an unavoidable place in the poet’s work
