No presente artigo, analisa-se a pesquisa intitulada: “A representação da vagina como um falo invertido e a dissidência de gênero e sexualidade no conto ‘Entre a espada e a rosa’ de Marina Colasanti”, na qual pondera-se o processo gradativo social dialético que incide da diferença anatômica entre os sexos e as questões de gênero e sexualidade que envolvem os personagens, a saber: uma jovem Princesa e um jovem Rei. Nessa proposição, avalia-se o processo de adaptação e aceitação social que envolve uma dissidente de gênero (Princesa) e a ambígua expressão sexual do jovem Rei. Nesse contexto, a personagem feminina se destaca pelas suas idas e vindas entre acepções tradicionais versus progressismo, considerando a composição de temas atuais, a exemplos: gênero e sexualidade que se pluralizam no conjunto de discussões que envolvem as ciências sociais humanas. Corroboram, nessa pesquisa, com maior ênfase, os estudos de Sigmund Freud, no que se refere às consequências psíquicas que envolvem o complexo de castração, Judith Butler e Pierre Bourdieu a respeito das questões de gênero e sexualidade. Acresce, ainda, outros referenciais, de menor inferência teórica que também corroboram na efetivação da análise proposta no corpus do artigo. Conclui-se que o conto “Entre a espada e a rosa” simboliza, alegoriza, metaforiza, em termos semânticos e semióticos, a perspectiva performática dos corpos que não se limitam nas acepções de gênero (masculino e feminino) e a sexualidade pautada pela heteronormatividade.
In this article, the research entitled: “The representation of the vagina as an inverted phallus and the dissidence of gender and sexuality in the short story ‘Between the sword and the rose’ by Marina Colasanti”, is analyzed, in which the gradual social dialectical process that focuses on the anatomical difference between the sexes and gender and sexuality issues that involve the characters is pondered, namely: a young Princess and a young King. In this proposition, the process of adaptation and social acceptance that involves a gender dissident (Princess) and the ambiguous sexual expression of the young King is evaluated. In this context, the female character stands out for her comings and goings between traditional meanings versus progressivism, considering the composition of current themes, for example: gender and sexuality that are pluralized in the set of discussions involving the human social sciences.This research corroborates, with greater emphasis, the studies of Sigmund Freud, with regard to the psychic consequences involving the castration complex, Judith Butler and Pierre Bourdieu regarding issues of gender and sexuality. In addition, there are other references, of lesser theoretical inference, that also corroborate with the effectiveness of the analysis proposed in the corpus of the Article. It is concluded that the short story “Between the Sword and the Rose” symbolizes, allegorizes, metaphorizes, in semantic and semiotic terms, the performative perspective of bodies that are not limited in the meanings of gender (male and female) and sexuality guided by heteronormativity.
