O artigo aborda o contexto da regulamentação do comércio internacional no final do século XX, destacando o fenômeno da globalização e a criação do sistema multilateral da OMC, e a proteção da Propriedade Intelectual levando em conta os princÃpios estabelecidos pela OMC. Enfrenta ainda o impasse da Propriedade Intelectual após a criação da OMC e do TRIPs., e com isso, o desenvolvimento, a inovação e a proteção da propriedade intelectual.
The article discusses the context of the international trade regulations in the late twentieth century, highlighting the protection of Intellectual Property into the phenomenon of globalization and the creation of the WTO multilateral system, principles established by the WTO and TRIPS. It also discusses the impasse faced by the Intellectual Property after the creation of the WTO and TRIPs. Consequently, analyzes the development, innovation and intellectual property protection in this context.
